This is the theme for the inspirational week of events organized by Disciples Home Missions (DHM). Week of Compassion is grateful to be participating with Disciples across the nation coming together to learn and serve.
St Louis experienced an EF3 tornado the second week of May in 2025. In the following weeks, the same area experienced severe storms and flooding. These back-to-back disasters caused widespread damage, and claimed the life of a pillar in the community of Centennial Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The community has been working to rebuild and is welcoming volunteers to be a part of the recovery. Week of Compassion continues to support recovery efforts in St Louis in partnership with 314 Oasis, a grassroots organization committed to holistic community recovery.
