Gordon Street Christian Church in Kinston, NC partners with the Community Recovery Division of Lenoir County to operate the Recovery Together ENC Center (RTENC) which includes oversight of the 9th Judicial District’s Recovery Court program, peer support, and recovery groups. (NA on Wednesdays at Noon.) Lenoir Community College provides employability skills through their Keys to Hope program. The Lenoir, Greene, and Jones County Re-entry Services through Lenoir Community College also provides re-entry services at the RTENC Center. We teach GED, et al.

Northway Christian Church, is committed to Building the Beloved Community.
The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. championed the powerful vision of the Beloved Community—a practical, achievable ideal where peace, happiness, safety, and justice are shared by all.
Conflict still exists in the Beloved Community, but it is resolved through non-violence and without hostility or resentment.
At the heart of Dr. King’s vision of the Beloved Community is Agape—unconditional love for all—which motivates us to work toward ending prejudice, poverty, hunger, violence, and all other injustices in humanity.
