HUB Issues Grants Combatting Food Insecurity

Disciples congregations and ministries receive over $23,000 to fight hunger

To continue the work of helping others, understanding key issues facing our society, and being the body of Christ, the Disciples Mission HUB provided over $23,000 in grant funding to Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations and ministries who are HUB members working to fight food insecurity.

Last fall, Disciples Home Missions identified resources which could be made available to Disciples programs relating to food insecurity. 21 congregations and ministries who have engaged with the Disciples Mission HUB will receive these resources to help start new programs or provide a boost to existing programs.

Join Disciples Mission HUB today to follow along with the exciting work of these congregations and ministries. We will be sharing stories, knowledge, and the impact of this opportunity in the coming months as the work begins. Get involved to learn, share, and join in helping others.
